Last year, the partners of Commoning Europe came to Brussels from January 25 through 27. The group decided, after the Belgians’ added value to the other visits, that a visit to Brussels was in its place.

From Bois de la Cambre in Uccle to the heart of the city of Brussels. It turned out to be the ideal moment for a two by two-wheeled chat.

Coalition for Healthy Air treats European Commission to cake

On the morning of 12 May, several campaign groups and organizations presented a cake to the European Commission as a playful action to "congratulate" it on the seventh anniversary of the launch proceedings against the Belgian government over poor air quality. The campaigners also compelled the European Commission to base new air quality standards on the latest scientific and medical knowledge.

On March 6th 2023, Brussels became the European center of urban rainwater management for a short moment. London, Copenhagen, Paris and Brussels revealed their plans to avoid floods and sewage overflows.
